Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Investment Consultant to lead client acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has experience in financial consulting, investment sales, or renewable energy financing and is comfortable working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), business owners, and financial advisors. You will be responsible for identifying potential investors, educating them on the financial advantages of solar investments, and closing deals that align with their wealth management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Client Outreach & Lead Generation:
- Identify and engage HNWIs, business owners, and accredited investors through LinkedIn, referrals, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
- Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, and digital marketing strategies to generate and nurture leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including wealth managers, tax advisors, and financial professionals.
Consultative Selling & Investment Education:
- Effectively communicate the financial and tax benefits of solar investments, including tax credits, accelerated depreciation (MACRS), and passive income streams.
- Guide clients through investment structures, risk management strategies, and projected long-term returns.
- Address client concerns regarding asset ownership, exit strategies, and financial planning.
- Qualify prospects and guide them through the investment decision-making process.
- Collaborate with CPAs, tax professionals, and financial planners to validate investment benefits.
- Close deals and ensure seamless onboarding of new investors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in finance, investments, or renewable energy.
- Strong understanding of solar tax incentives, wealth management, and alternative investment strategies.
- Proven experience selling to HNWIs, accredited investors, or financial professionals.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Preferred Skills
- Background in financial services, real estate investment, or tax advisory.
- Experience with alternative asset classes, syndication investments, or tax-efficient strategies.
- Existing network of high-income professionals, wealth managers, or investment firms.
