Regal Rexnord Corporation ("Regal Rexnord") is a leading manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation and mechanical power transmission products and sub-systems, serving customers around the world in the general industrial, consumer, commercial construction, food & beverage, and alternative energy end markets, among others.Regal Rexnord sells its products and solutions to OEMs, through distributors, and directly to end-users.With the announcement of the acquisition of Altra Industrial Motion, a ~$2B global business with 9,000 associates, focused on Power Transmission and Factory Automation products, Regal Rexnord will become a $7.3B company with 36,000 associates globally.Regal Rexnord's business purpose is to create a better tomorrow by energy-efficiently converting power into motion.This means creating innovative solutions while focusing on both customer needs and the company's commitment to sustainability.The company's industrial powertrain and automation solutions offerings are an important part of the company's growth strategy.The company's strategy includes leveraging ***** to prioritize all activities, including product excellence, operational excellence and commercial excellence(i) driving organic sales growth through the introduction of innovative new products, with a particular focus on improving energy efficiency,(ii) establishing and maintaining new customers, as well as developing new opportunities with existing customers,(iii) participating in higher growth end markets and geographies, and(iv) identifying and consummating strategic, value creating acquisitions.Position Summary:Major Responsibilities:- Reviews and evaluates all aspects of Mexico Logistics (Inbound and Outbound)- Helps execute Mexico Logistics Strategy that is aligned with overall Logistics/company strategy.- Identifies key metrics, effectively tracking performance and adjusting providers, modes, routes efficiently in order to drive cost reduced logistics performance.- Ensures that monthly, quarterly and yearly KPI's are prepared and published as appropriate.- Manages Mexico Logistics metrics as well as Carrier improvement programs and reporting strategies.- Determines the most advantageous and economical methods of shipments for Regal Rexnord across the Mexico network of manufacturing plants and distribution centers.- Provides effective and actionable financial analysis, scenario analysis, and communication of alternatives in Carrier Management and Cost vs. Performance trade-offs.- Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.- Collaborates across the Business Units and Functions to ensure shipments are moving efficiently and cost effectively.- Coordinates movement of finished goods, raw materials and equipment between Regal Rexnord Mexico and U.S Operations..- Tracks inbound and outbound shipping activities through the full purchase order lifecycle to ensure that plants, shipping schedules, and transportation requirements are being met.- Keeps up-to-date on all current events within Mexico Logistics in order to remain up to date on the latest business and regulatory trends or high impact occurrences.Required Education / Experience / Skills:- Bachelor's Degree- 3-5 Years of experience in strategically managing Mexico Logistics- Ability to demonstrate experience in effectively measuring and driving freight performance improvement and cost savings opportunities.- General knowledge and skill with Mexico shipments both inbound and outbound- Excellent communication, project management, and relationship building skills- Proven ability to take on tasks and drive continuous improvementTravel: Minimal (5% - 15%)Language: Spanish & English FluentlyRegal Rexnord is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, ancestry, national origin, marital status, citizenship status (unless required by the applicable law or government contract), disability or protected veteran status or any other status or characteristic protected by law.Regal Rexnord is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.We are committed to building a team that represents diverse and inclusive backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
