**A Place Where People Matter.**Start your career journey with Univar SolutionsHere you can make an impact on the world around you and accelerate your career in areas that energize and excite you.**Manager, Compensation & Benefits**The Manager, Compensation and Benefits, is responsible for managing compensation and benefits programs for Univar's Chemical Distribution business unit in the Mexico region.This role leads the design, implementation, and administration of compensation policies and practices to ensure competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with business objectives.**What You'll Do**:- Develop and manage broad-based compensation processes, programs, and policies- Analyze market data and internal equity to make recommendations on salary structures, pay practices, and program design- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide compensation guidance and support for employee-related decisions- Direct the participation in and submission of global salary surveys to maintain competitive market data.- Support Job Code Creation in Employee Central, managing job codes within HR systems to ensure accurate and updated employee data, aligning the correct job level, type of bonus and internal paygrade.- AOP & Labor Cost Planning, creating labor cost projections for FTEs, contractors, and interns, incorporating salary adjustments, benefits, and workforce planning according with the local authorities in social security, taxes and the labor proposals for the government.- Manage benefits programs (insurance, savings funds, vouchers, fleet), including vendor negotiation, renewals, and policy optimization.**What You'll Need**:- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience- 5-7+ years of progressive Compensation and Benefits management experience- Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, processes, and regulations- Experience with HRIS and compensation management systems- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills- AOP & Labor Cost Planning- Understanding of Mexican labor law, including IMSS(Mexican Social Security), INFONAVIT(housing fund), FONACOT and the tax implications of compensation and benefits**Nice to have**:- Master's degree in human resources or related field- Compensation Professional (CCP) certificationUnivar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients **essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives** from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning, construction, and more.Our global team of more than **9,500 employees**support our vision to redefine distribution and be the most valued chemical and ingredient distributor on the planetWe offer a **Total Rewards package**that includes market aligned pay and incentives as well as a diverse benefits offering to**support our employees' physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing**.**Univar Solutions supports **sustainable solutions**for the world around us so that we can do our part to**help keep our communities healthy, fed, clean, and safe****We are committed to a diverse workforce and a culture of inclusion.** Together, we are building a culture that acknowledges the unique experiences, perspectives and expertise of individuals and provides the development and growth opportunities to empower us to redefine our industry.Univar Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against based on their race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected classification.LI-RS1
