About this role Audible is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior System Development Engineer to join a growing team. If you are customer‑focused with creative problem‑solving skills and have experience supporting technology teams this role may be for you. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your communication, technical, and problem‑solving skills to impact millions of customers around the world. Be a technical lead on the team and act as a subject matter expert for one or more services Lead Infrastructure support, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services Lead coding projects primarily in Java and AWS technologies Lead software deployment support in staging and production environments Lead the development of tools to aid operations and maintenance Lead system and support status reporting Lead large, cross‑functional team projects and resolve complex system issues Understand the business impact of system development decisions Lead design, code, and procedure review discussions Lead discussions related to improving Audible's infrastructure, operational performance, and stability Play a significant role in hiring, mentoring, and training employees Demonstrate excellent judgment when making decisions Lead large scale projects such as migration to native Lead pipeline automation and drive it to closure About Audible Audible is the leading producer and provider of audio storytelling.
