About our client
We are currently working with a prominent international fund focused on high-end luxury resorts and hotels. Our client seeks an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior Asset Manager with a strong background in finance. It is your chance to assume a strategic role in maximizing the value and profitability of the portfolio and take a hands-on approach to overseeing the performance and management of multiple luxury hotels in the region. The position is based in Mexico City.
What the job involves
- Work alongside property management teams to guarantee peak operational efficiency and guest contentment
- Arrange and oversee contracts, leases, and various agreements pertaining to the resort properties
- Create and deliver comprehensive asset performance reports to the executive team and stakeholders
- Observe and assess market trends, competitive conditions, and industry progress to guide strategic choices
- Manage the financial outcomes of the company's resort properties, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and financial evaluation
- Create and execute asset management strategies to enhance the value and profitability of individual assets and the overall resort portfolio
- Guarantee adherence to all applicable regulations and standards
- Oversee connections with property owners, investors, and other essential parties
- Perform routine property evaluations and inspections to pinpoint areas for enhancement and investment
- Offer guidance and support to junior staff in asset management
Who we are looking for
- Experience as a Finance Director for hotel/hospitality operations with strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Solid experience in asset management (in the real estate sector or hospitality preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong leader with exceptional communication and team management abilities
- Analytical, organized, technical and detail oriented
- Fluency in English and Spanish
