Your Career Begins at TimkenIf you're ready for a challenging career that provides you with the ability to advance personally and professionally, look to Timken.Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion.ResponsibilitiesMaintain an efficient inventory level for plants managed from Mexico in accordance with BP by managing the inventory model and performing analysis for special inventory requests such as new OE businesses, price list changes, and 2B forms for MTO (Make to Order parts).Obtain the required approvals and either place manual POs or adjust targets in SAP, manage third-party vendors, manage replenishment for Latin America for ball bearings and sets sourced from China, and execute and analyze key reports: Inventory, Back Order, OSMI, Order Book, Forecast Accuracy, New Product Line Status, Old SRB's, and Monthly Cycle Count Results.Maintain efficient stock availability to meet corporate targets by supervising and analyzing the weekly generation of the ABC report (consolidating inventory, back-order, delivery notes, product lines, and ABC classifications).Focus on stock-out materials and identify opportunities for sweeping product from other distribution centers or repacking between bulk and carton parts.Enter manual POs in SAP according to the obtained approvals.Accomplish Inventory and Direct-Material purchasing SOX requirements.Manage OSMI (obsolete and slow-moving inventory) of total inventory; analyze OSMI on a monthly basis.Identify opportunities for sweeping product to other distribution centers or repacking between bulk and carton parts; perform analysis to determine keep quantities and root causes for items in the global OSMI file generated by corporate for FERTS and locally for all other materials.Once the final scrap approval is received, perform an additional review to determine final quantities, which are listed in a file sent to warehouse personnel for filling.Support Sales and CS by improving lead times (expedites, intercepts, sweeps), etc.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.Experience with SAP.3 to 5 years of experience in replenishment and inventory.All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.There will be no discrimination due to gender or gender identity, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran/military status or any other basis protected by applicable law.#J-*****-Ljbffr
