Compliance Engineer

**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Responsible for Lab certification under 3 rd party agencies- Review/ensure new and current prodcuts comply with any agency compliance requirement applicable.- Write/Review compliance test reports.- Train and update lab personal on applicable standards.Approval under agencies files for new products and/or new technologies.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Minimum of 2-3 years' in similar role.- Analitical in order to review large somes of infromation- Experience working with agecies such as, UL, Intertek, CSA, ANCE, NYCE, or similar- Experience in R&D testing- Self-directed, good **problem-solving skills**:- Please list all experience required to perform this job.You may note some requirements as preferred.- Please note minimum and preferred requirements for education.This includes degree, specializations and certifications.- Leadership and communication skills.Ability to give direction to Test Technicians & communicate test issues to all levels of management.Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude towards customer relations.**PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**- Work in short periods of time in outdoor conditionsCapable to perform lifting of small components**TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED**- (None, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%)
