Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.A client of ours in the streaming space is in need of hiring a Sr.Software Development in Test Engineer (SDET) to join their Engineering Services team, specifically a part of their Ad Server/Platform Digital Engineering team.You will be responsible for building test automation and processes to ensure the quality of the advertising systems.This role is a unique opportunity to join an excellent team and have a meaningful impact on the QE and automation process and culture, as well as the products/ads they release.As a result, those most likely to excel in this role are independent, creative, and able to operate effectively in ambiguous circumstances.This is a heavy testing/quality engineering role where the results of this individual's testing will have significant impact on the business and be highly visible to company leadership.This role is 100% back-end testing using Python and Behave (BDD) (i.E. API testing, microservices, some contract testing and asynchronous testing, etc.)This role is REMOTE, must work PST time zone, and paying $****-$**** USD/month.Required Skills and Experience4-5+ years of hands-on Python software test development experience (SDET), including both functional and non-functional test developmentProficiency in Python for both programming AND testingProficiency in API testing, microservices, white-box testing, load-testing, contract testing, back-end testing, asynchronous testing, etc.Experience building or improving test automation frameworks AND testing microservicesStrong desire for establishing and improving product qualityProficiency CI/CD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker or other similar toolsWillingness to take challenges head on while being part of a teamNice to Have SkillsExperience with Behave (BDD) for testingAWSS3DynamoDBDockerTerraformBenefitsIG has benefit options available at a discount from Day 1 of employment, packages dependent on your location.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Engineering and Information Technology.Industry: Entertainment Providers and Movies, Videos, and Sound.#J-*****-Ljbffr
