With unmatched scale, innovation and expertise, Prologis is a category of one—not just shaping the future of logistics but building what comes next.**Job Title:**Maintenance Technician**Company:**Prologis**What’s needed in order to do that:*** Develop and maintain positive relationships with all customers and vendors.* Responsive to customer’s needs and requests in a timely manner.* Must be able to perform basic maintenance functions for customers and building.* Must be able to coordinate maintenance services with vendors on behalf of customers.* Proactively perform property inspections and drop-ins; communicate any issues to RECX team.* Report safety issues immediately and recommend solutions to customers, vendors, or RECX team.* Ensure safe and proper storage of all supplies, chemicals, tools, and equipment. Ensure tools and equipment are in optimum condition.* Assist in inspecting, monitoring and documenting all work being performed by outside contractors. Aid the Real Estate and Customer Service Manager in the evaluation of all service contract requirements and the oversight of property maintenance contracts.* In partnership with the Customer Experience Team (CET), must be able to identify additional revenue opportunities by demonstrating an expert understanding of Prologis value-added products and services to align them to customer needs (Prologis Essentials, etc..)* Partner with enterprise Procurement team to negotiate pricing for materials, services, and capital projects.* Be ready to respond immediately to emergency situations and concerns.* Attend and complete all required training.**Tell us if you’re ready.*** Requires General Education Degree (GED) in Civil Engineering.* Minimum of three years in skilled maintenance work; experience in commercial real estate industry preferred.* Knowledge and experience in more than one of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, Construction, Fire protection System, Roof and heating/cooling (HVAC) systems.* Ability to work outdoors much of the day.* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks on a daily basis and solve problems* Ability to carry out specific oral and written instructions.* Ability to coordinate repairs, maintenance and site inspections.* Ability to work independently.* This is a field position that requires twisting, bending and lifting while completing work assignments.* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.* Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, management, contractors and vendors.* Requires a valid driver’s license, good driving record and the ability to travel to multiple properties in other states.**People First**As a successful global enterprise, Prologis has never lost sight of what matters most - our strong belief that our people are the most important part of our business.
