Responsibilities and more The full-stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users. Objectives of this role Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements. Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment. Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities. Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment. Develop and maintain scalable and high-performing software solutions using the specified tech stack. Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features. Ensure code quality through unit and functional testing. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality. Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable software. Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent videoconferences. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices. Required skills and qualifications Experience in the automotive industry and automotive parts standards such as ACES and PIES. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working in a small team startup environment. Experience working on or implementing e-commerce platforms or solutions. Familiarity with AWS and cloud computing services. Ability to write and maintain clear and concise technical documentation. Experience in search technologies such as full-text lexical search and/or semantic vector-based search. Strong understanding of Git and experience with CI / CD pipelines. Experience with ML, ML embeddings, and generative AI. Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience with AWS Bedrock. Experience in designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Knowledge of Ruby, Python, Javascript (Node.js, React, Typescript, ES6, Cypress), Go, Rust, Elixir. Experience processing large datasets and working with Big Data and Analytics. Experience working with data processing frameworks and services such as Apache Spark and Airflow. Experience with databases such as PostgresQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, influxDB, Milvus and Qdrant. Experience with Messaging Queues such as RabbitMQ, AWS SQS and Kafka. Excellent debugging and optimization skills. Experience in unit / integration testing. Preferred skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, applied mathematics, or engineering. Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies. Professional certification.
