**Your Career Begins at Timken**If you're ready for a challenging career that provides you with the ability to advance personally and professionally, look to Timken.Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion**Purpose**Responsible for following health and safety rules and procedures and communicating any unsafe acts or conditions to their immediate supervisor.The operator must be able to perform each of their activities and operations in the assembly area such as: (testing, product inspection, packaging, shipping to the warehouse, as well as process or production control reports required) to achieve production goals.Perform operations according to Timken's instructions, visual aids and procedures in compliance with production standards, interpretation of drawings and design charts, management and follow up of production plans.**Essential Responsibilities**Responsible for quality inspection of product coming out of the washer.Responsible for quality inspection of product at the end of the line as finished product.Responsible for filling out end of line process control production reports.Assist in methods that contribute to reducing costs, eliminating non-conformances and optimizing processes.Responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in their work area in accordance with the 5S (order and cleanliness) program.Performs training of new operational personnel in accordance with Timken procedures.Responsible for detecting and reporting any type of failure or error in the operation.Review of Quality attributes according to company standards.Responsible for filling out the TPM checklists of the assembly area.Responsible for filling out the start of shift checklists for the assembly area.Responsible for filling out the scrap sheet of unfinished product and finished product.Responsible for labeling and strapping of finished material and transporting it to the finished product area.**Bachelor ´s Degree**:Middle school, High school or Technician DegreeAll qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.There will be no discrimination due to gender or gender identity, race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran/military status or any other basis protected by applicable law.
