OverviewJob Description: The Warehouse Manager is accountable for evaluating the performance and implementing new ways of working, routing, equipment, etc., that lead to higher throughput. Will develop and lead strategic initiatives which deliver cost reduction, higher service levels, and greater logistics flexibility and capacity. Will also determine the most cost-effective ways to operate the warehouse without compromising the service level to customers and production lines. Storage & Handling improvements focus on: Service, Security & Quality, Cost and Capacity. Service involves understanding customer needs (internal and external) in terms of service and KPIs and translating that understanding into action plans. Security & Quality involves ensuring all operations within the factory comply with MARS standards, and working with suppliers to ensure materials comply with internal policies.What are we looking for?Bachelor\'s degree Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related studies.Advanced degree highly preferredAdvanced English3+ years of demonstrated senior management experience leading a department through collaboration with critical suppliers and internal colleagues3+ years of experience in related areas, such as supply chain, imports/exports and planning.Deep understanding of physical logistics management and its impact on the company financialsAnalytical understanding of the value and impact of information (managing and reporting data effectively)Proven experience leading and developing a high performing teamStrong attention to detail, initiative, problem solving, and time managementExcellent communication and presentation skills in English and SpanishStrong customer focusWhat will be your key responsibilities?1. Lead, analyze, and evaluate warehouse improvements that will support business growthCreate standard operating procedures within Toluca’s WHS and ensure these procedures are implementedMonitor and improve throughput and efficiencyDigitalize Warehouse Operations3. Orchestrate and implement improvements to Transportation Operations (Do It Best)Conduct benchmark of other warehouses (internal & external) to implement best in class proceduresProvide strategic perspective on long term Warehousing Strategy that supports growth, cost and serviceEnsure LLC improvements in Storage & HandlingLeadership over the S&OP+ ProcessEnsure Mars Safety guidelines are met in Toluca’s WHSEnsure compliance of procedures for Hygiene and Food SafetyEnsure Mexican and/or International regulatory policies are followed4.
