Canonical\'s mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Canonical Enterprise Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success through owning, driving, communicating and respectfully engaging all stakeholders, valuing integrity and accountability. Within a portfolio of projects with complex and changing software technologies, customer and partner satisfaction is only possible because of exceptional Project Managers who know how to respect and engage all stakeholders.Location: This is a Globally remote role.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring programs and projects are delivered within the schedule, scope, cost, budget and resources expectationsIdentifying key technical and project risks and issues and actively putting mitigating actions in placeMaintaining strong customer focus and working with all key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomesConducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers and providing direction when neededManaging the delivery schedule of critical third party deliverables for the projectAdvocating to customers the appropriate technologies from Canonical\'s portfolioDriving project success while managing risksWhat we are looking forExperience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project ManagementExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience leading cross-cultural, remote and global project teams and customersStrong negotiation and influencing skillsStrong communication skillsDeep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud TechnologiesBachelor\'s Degree in a STEM disciplineProject Management Certification, preferably PMP or equivalent certificationAgile Project Management certification, preferably Scrum Master or equivalent certificationAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationallyWhat we offer colleaguesWe consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide.
