Watlow is a global industrial technology and manufacturing leader that provides world class engineering expertise and innovative thermal products and systems that enable customers to thrive.Watlow brings its experience to numerous industries, including semiconductor processing, environmental chambers, energy processes, diesel emissions, medical and foodservice equipment.**Position Summary**:We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven IT Director - Helpdesk and Infrastructure to lead global support and infrastructure operations across a hybrid enterprise environment.This leader will own the performance, modernization, and security of end-user support, enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms, while driving operational excellence, innovation, and alignment with business needs.You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing IT strategy through close collaboration with peers across Industrial Architecture, IT sourcing, vendor strategy, and enterprise budget planning.**Key Responsibilities**:- Global IT Operations:Lead helpdesk and infrastructure operations across regions (Sites in US, Mexico, Europe and Asia).Ensure high system availability, rapid incident response, and world-class user experience.- Infrastructure Leadership:Provide leadership in LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, and VPNs- Oversee server management (Windows, Linux, VMware), hybrid cloud (Azure/AWS), storage, and network performance.Drive modernization and scalability.- Microsoft Enterprise Licensing:Manage all facets of Microsoft licensing (M365, Server, SQL, Azure).Ensure compliance, usage optimization, and vendor accountability.- Strategic Partnership:Collaborate with other IT Directors to align infrastructure with industrial architecture, participate in budget planning, and support cross-functional IT initiatives.- IT Sourcing & Vendor Management:Oversee third-party infrastructure service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective service delivery aligned with business goals.- ITSM & Service Delivery:Improve service delivery through ITIL practices, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement.Champion a culture of proactive support and user satisfaction.- Security, Compliance & Continuity:Partner with security teams to ensure compliance, disaster recovery readiness, and secure infrastructure operations globally.- Global Team Leadership:Lead a geographically dispersed team (US, Mexico, Europe and Asia) with strong emphasis on coaching, development, and accountability.Comfortable with international travel (20% of the time) and on-site leadership.**Qualifications**:- 10+ years in Enterprise, Manufacturing environment, preferably Industrial Sector, with at least 5 in leadership roles across Helpdesk and infrastructure- Proven experience managing global teams and complex environments- Deep expertise in Microsoft licensing, cloud platforms, server architecture, virtualization, and support operations- Strong background in vendor management, IT budgeting, and cross-functional leadership- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)- Certifications: ITIL (required); Microsoft (MCSE, Azure), PMP, or CISSP preferred- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and executive presence**What You Bring**:- Strategic mindset with executional focus- Ability to lead with influence across functions and regions- Experience transforming infrastructure and support models- Commitment to service excellence, team growth, and business impact.**Benefits**:The health, well-being and financial stability of you and your family is a high priority to us.The Watlow Total Rewards Plan includes competitive compensation and a full range of life and career enhancing benefits:- Dental, medical, visual and life insurance- Annual Achievement Award- Saving fund, Christmas bonus, Grocery vouchers, Car allowance and more.
