Associate Manager, Procurement Latam

**Core Responsibilities**:- Manage processing of Purchase Orders for MRP-generated, Non-MRP generated, services, CapEx, packaging and chemicals Purchase Requisitions- Manage Buyers to meet defined Service Level Agreements with Procurement Operations and Operations teams.This includes tasks needed to monitor and report those SLA and other KPI.- Manage creation of new Purchasing Information Records as well as maintenance and updating of Purchasing Information records and Source Lists as directed.- Monitor key Purchasing policies and conduct recurring review/analysis to ensure policies are adhered to.- Identify opportunities to better leverage key Procurement system capability and work with Procurement Operations to implement improvements.- Liaise with Procurement Operations to resolve issues, risks, and dependencies related to Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Supplier Communications, and/or Supplier Invoices- Partner with Procurement Operations to ensure Buyers are serving the transactional needs of the plants.- Partner with the rest of the Associate Managers and seek for standardization across regions.- Fluency in English language (written and spoken)- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline- 5-7 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment- Proven leadership experience for at least 2 years.- Knowledge and understanding of procurement practices, policies, and procedures.- Sound knowledge of SAP.Knowledge of SAP Ariba a plus but not required.- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint- Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions, and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks.- Ability to work against and meet deadlines from multiple stakeholders and effectively manage expectations.- Strong team focus and desire to achieve results including the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.- Ability to communicate with a high degree of credibility internally across functional lines and externally with suppliers.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work in a team environment, build consensus and foster positive relationships.- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to establish common ground for win-win outcomes.- Create a talent culture founded on a strong conviction that superior talent delivers superior results; they scout to find the best people, drive performance, coach transparently, and build strong teams globally.- Challenge the status quo and promote bold thinking in order to create value in new ways across customers, processes, products, and solutions to stay relevant and competitive in changing markets.- Demonstrated ability to advocate on behalf of the company in support of company business goals and strategies.- Experience with ISO and FSC***** requirements in a food manufacturing environment a plus.- Prior experience in a shared services environment is a plus.**Relocation Available**:No
