Role: Junior Business Analyst Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week) Contract Duration: Long Term Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri) Work Hours: PST Hours Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM Countries) We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Business Analyst to support our product, technology, and business teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Agile delivery, hands‑on experience with Jira, a strong understanding of software testing, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Salesforce and comfort with AI‑enabled productivity tools will significantly strengthen candidacy. This role is suited for nearshore or offshore talent that can collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, contribute to clear documentation, and help ensure high‑quality delivery. It is highly preferred that the candidate can overlap with PST working hours. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Work closely with product owners, SMEs, and development teams to gather, clarify, and document business and technical requirements. Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation within Agile frameworks. Assist in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and demo sessions. Agile Delivery Support Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure Jira boards are organized, accurate, and updated throughout the sprint cycle. Identify and escalate risks, blockers, or dependencies to leadership. Testing & Quality Assurance Assist in executing functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Validate that delivered features meet defined requirements and quality standards. Document defects in Jira and collaborate with development team for resolution. Communication & Collaboration Facilitate clear communication between business and technical stakeholders. Prepare and present documentation, meeting notes, and status updates. Work effectively in a remote, distributed team structure. Tools & Technology Utilize Jira, Confluence, and other Agile management tools. Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) for drafting, analysis, testing support, and productivity enhancement. Apply foundational knowledge of Salesforce to support requirements, testing, and validation tasks within the platform. Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst. Hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Proficiency in Jira for tracking requirements, user stories, and defects. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Salesforce. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and support complex initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI productivity tools to streamline documentation, analysis, or testing tasks. Exposure to Confluence, Jira, Lucidchart or similar collaboration tools. Familiarity with API fundamentals, data flows, or integration concepts (nice‑to‑have). What We’re Looking For A motivated analyst who is eager to learn and grow.
