The CSIS Security Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility.Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s).Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services.May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise.Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required.Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets.Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesThis role will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of Citi by interacting with multiple businesses across the enterpriseEnforce security rules and safety standardsReview security or safety related incidents and ensure that appropriate measures to correct any deficiencies or errors are taken in an effort to reduce risk or exposure to risk.Ensure that security procedures are enforced and that all security personnel are trained to respond to emergency situationsInteract with other departments on issues involving security and safety functionsConduct training, Operational readiness exercises and ensure that security staff is well practiced and rehearsed in the execution of security operations, drills, assignments and the day-to-day functioning of security systemsMaintain CSIS systems, staff and equipment in a state of perpetual readiness enough to meet or surpass requirements of both internal and/or external auditsDemonstrate basic knowledge of vendor and invoice managementManage contingent and contract staff at various Citi facilities, sites and branchesClearly and concisely brief management on ongoing major security matters and does so in a professional mannerQualifications5-8 years of experienceBachelor's degree or Associate's degree plus equivalent work experienceManaged team of security professionals and contingent staff or managed security program/projectsExecuted efficiently under tight time constraintsEstablished effective relationships with senior business leaders and internal partnersCollaborated with peers, leadership teams and industry contacts to understand risk profiles of properties within span of controlFacilitated complex security projects that have regional consequences as well as criminal or regulatory implicationsHas demonstrated in-depth understanding of the elements of a security & safety risk and control environment.Identifies and remediates weaknesses in security activitiesHas demonstrated a broad understanding of security vulnerabilitiesExperience with understanding potential security or safety threats (e.G., fire, executive protection), local threats based on geographic location and their impactDemonstrated understanding of risk management and innovatively develops solutions and makes suggestions to senior management to mitigate risksParticipated in critical resource evaluations of staff to raise operational effectiveness and efficiencyRelevant experience in a private/public sector security environmentExperience working in a corporate or financial services security teamDomestic TravelFlexibility to work on call off hours/weekendsEducationBachelors/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high–level review of the types of work performed.Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.Job Family Group : Corporate ServicesJob Family : SecurityTime Type : Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or status as a protected veteran.View the "EEO is the Law" poster.View the EEO is the Law Supplement.View the EEO Policy Statement.View the Pay Transparency Posting.#J-*****-Ljbffr
