You may know McCormick as a leader in herbs, spices, seasonings, and condiments – and we're only getting started.At McCormick, we're always looking for new people to bring their unique flavor to our team.McCormick employees – all 14,000 of us across the world – are what makes this company a great place to work.We are looking to hire a Senior Buyer in a Hybrid capacity for our site in Interlomas.This is 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.Please submit your CV in English.What We Bring To The Table: The best people deserve the best rewards.In addition to the benefits, you'd expect from a global leader (health insurance, paid time off, etc.) we also offer : Competitive compensationCareer growth opportunitiesFlexibility and Support for Diverse Life Stages and ChoicesWe prioritize our communities and the planet we shareWellbeing programs including Physical, Mental and Financial wellnessPosition OverviewThe Senior Buyer is responsible for leading the procurement of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted supply for production while optimizing cost, quality, and service levels.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned material categories.Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality, and reliability.Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply risks to anticipate potential impacts.Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical procurement standards.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and forecast demand.Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects.Analyze supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed.Support new product launches by sourcing and qualifying new suppliers.Maintain accurate purchasing data in ERP systems and ensure timely purchase orders.Secondary ResponsibilitiesStrategic thinking and decision-making.Strong sense of ownership and accountability.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Results-oriented with continuous improvement mindset.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in procurement of direct materials, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel.Power BI experience, preferred.Experience working with global teams or stakeholders, preferred.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Advanced / Fluent English (spoken and written).As an Equal Opportunities employer, McCormick is committed to an inclusive workforce.#J-*****-Ljbffr
