Job OverviewAt TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job RequirementsTracking and reporting of quality metrics such as KPIs.Monitoring product life cycle processes and products for adherence to company and regulatory standards and practices; monitoring the effectiveness of quality processes and tools.Participating in planning and estimating quality support requirements for new products, functions, and components.Recommending modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality; working with product developers to resolve non-compliance issues.What your background should look likeResponsibilitiesIdentify the key process basing on quality control and assure process quality.Lead and participate with Product and Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians in the resolution of issues using failure analysis (Ishikawa, 5 Why, 8D).Support roll-out and execution of standard tools: tolerance analysis, FMEA, CONTROL PLANS, MSA, Capability studies, QIP, FAI, PPAP, work instructions development & Lessons Learned Data.Proficiency in quality-related software and tools: Minitab, SAP, Excel, ETC.Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and quality inspectors.Knowledge on QMS per ISO9001:2015 and AS9001 (basic).Analysis of quality and process data (ppm, scrap, Pareto, CPK, COPQ etc.).Knowledge of electrical test (basic).Lead audits of ISO9001.IPC 620 and 61Testing, weldingRequirements and SkillsEngineering related career+5 years of experienceAdvanced EnglishExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsLeadership and team management abilitiesAttention to detail and a methodical approach to tasksOnsiteLocation: HermosilloRequired to travel: NoneTravel: Less than 10%CompetenciesSET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)LocationHERMOSILLO SONORA, SON, MX, 83174City: HERMOSILLO SONORAState: SONCountry/Region: MXAlternative Locations: #J-18808-Ljbffr
