Job Overview IAV Group, an engineering and technical consultancy servicing the global automotive industry, is seeking a motivated team member for its Mexico office to design fuel supply systems for hybrid and gasoline vehicles. The successful candidate must be a resident in or near Puebla, Mexico. Responsibilities Develop components for fuel supply systems (Hybrid) Investigate components in the vehicle environment Transfer component specifications (RFQ) to design proposals Create and modify components to meet specifications using CAD Prepare technical documentation (drawings, assembly instructions, specifications, technical presentations, parts list) Participate in technical meetings and derive necessary tasks Track and adhere to schedules Check & release supplier documentation (3D, drawings, quality reports, release documents) Coordinate with component suppliers and handle deviation permissions Process approval processes at customers (evaluate technical changes, collect documentation, present to decision boards, communicate decisions, update systems/databases) Conduct meetings and communicate results to all stakeholders Travel domestically or internationally as needed Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, automotive, or related engineering fields PhD desirable but not required Minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive powertrain design or related roles Experience in developing mechanical systems focused on fuel system development Knowledge of hybrid fuel systems ideal Experience in developing plastic components Experience investigating components in the vehicle environment Proficiency in CATIA V5 and automotive 3D design Knowledge of fuel storage systems Knowledge of hybrid fuel systems and DVP release process Ability to create concise presentations on design status using Microsoft Office Strong teamwork and communication skills, English level B2; German speaking a plus Benefits Hybrid work flexibility; structured onboarding; remote communication with German team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
