Site Reliability Engineer

ResponsibilitiesOperate and enhance existing runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex production issues and drive long-term reliability improvements.Build automation, tooling, and monitoring to remove manual effort across the database stack.Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to preventive engineering solutions.Learn PostgreSQL and progressively take ownership of database operational responsibilities with mentorship from senior DBREs.Participate in the PostgreSQL on-call rotation once sufficient experience and proficiency are gained.Minimum QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.5+ years of experience operating and maintaining large-scale SaaS platforms.Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals.Hands-on experience building Docker images for production use.Experience running workloads on Kubernetes or another container-orchestration platform.Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts; familiarity with tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD is a plus.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.); PostgreSQL experience preferred but not required.Strong interest in learning PostgreSQL internals and advanced database concepts.Experience building automation or tooling in Python and/or Go.Experience with public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, GCP, Azure).What We OfferOpportunities to work on complex, large-scale database systems.A collaborative environment with experienced DBREs providing guidance and mentorship.Meaningful ownership of automation, tooling, and reliability initiatives that directly impact production systems.#J-*****-Ljbffr
