We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the development of a Shopify Extension. This role is ideal for someone highly skilled in TypeScript, React, and Shopify App development, and who enjoys building reliable, scalable frontend and backend systems. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver well‑architected Shopify App features while contributing to strong engineering practices and documentation standards. Responsibilities Expand and maintain an existing Shopify App using Remix and Liquid. Develop and optimize Shopify App Theme Extensions and Remix/Liquid snippets. Build and document scalable frontend components with TypeScript and React. Collaborate with backend engineers, supporting Node.js/Express or Hono services. Work closely with product and engineering teammates to drive high‑quality delivery in an agile environment. Participate in code reviews and help define best practices and standards for Shopify App development. Core Requirements 6+ years of full stack development experience, with strong frontend capabilities. Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development. Hands‑on experience with Shopify App development, including Remix, Liquid, and Theme Extensions. Ability to write clean, maintainable code and document frontend/backend solutions. Experience with Git-based workflows and modern development practices. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in distributed teams. Nice to have Experience with Node.js/Express or Hono for backend services. Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern web architectures. Why Join Kake?
