Company OverviewSeerist stands at the forefront of threat and risk intelligence, seamlessly fusing state-of-the-art AI technology with expert human analysis in a cloud-based platform.Our mission is to provide preemptive, critical insights that empower the world's preeminent organizations and vital government bodies.We are committed to protecting their people, assets, and operations through proactive threat forecasting, real-time event monitoring, and the strategic contextualization of intelligence.This approach informs and catalyzes decisive action, positioning Seerist as a pivotal ally in navigating today's complex security landscape.About the RoleThis full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to join Seerist, a growing company creating the most exciting technology and tools for predictive security analysis on the market.As an Intelligence Researcher, you'll be at the core of Seerist's real-time global monitoring and situational awareness mission.You will detect, verify, and contextualize high-impact security incidents and planned events worldwide — blending traditional intelligence tradecraft with tech-enabled workflows.We're looking for early- to mid-career professionals who are detail-obsessed, fast-moving, and mission-driven.Whether you come from a GSOC, newsroom, military intel shop, NGO, or OSINT community — if you can think critically, write sharply, and operate under pressure — we want to hear from you.What You'll DoMonitor and verify global events.Identify, vet, and document real-time security incidents and developments with global implications using OSINT best practices.Write with impact.Produce concise, insightful situational summaries for high-impact and planned events that support decision-makers across sectors and geographies.Support 24/7 global coverage.Operate within a follow-the-sun model, including occasional weekend shifts to ensure around-the-clock intelligence delivery.Deep research.Research news and open-source media and extract key details (e.G., casualties, damage, disrupted sectors) using the Seerist methodology.Peer mentorship and knowledge sharing.Support colleagues, participate in peer reviews, and help raise analytic and operational standards across the team.Contribute to reports.Identify trends in data and work to advance analytic narratives to inform and protect the client's decision space.RequirementsHigh level of English language proficiency (written, reading, and verbal) is required for this role.Resume must be written and submitted in English.Undergraduate degree.Background in international relations, political science, regional studies, or journalism.Proficiency using OSINT tools and digital verification methods.Strong English-language skills with the ability to draft short, grammatically correct products under deadline pressure with minimum editorial oversight.Comfort working in fast-paced teams with dynamic priorities and distributed workflows.Demonstrated collaboration experience (peer reviews, cross-functional teams, team projects).Willingness to learn, extremely proactive and independent worker.Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts to ensure seamless 24/7 operational coverage.Ability to modify work schedule to better align with the standard business hours of another geographic region to ensure 24/7 global events coverage.Flexibility – we're a small company that is rapidly evolving to meet client needs.Desired Qualifications2–5 years of experience in GSOC, investigative analysis, journalism, security research, or related roles focused on intelligence gathering and analysis.Experience in structured analytic techniques (SATs), threat assessments, or finished intelligence.Professional or academic experience working abroad.Multilingual research capabilities (Portuguese).Strong written communication skills – ability to write for senior clients under deadline.Proficiency in a range of computer skills and technologies.What Seerist OffersAn opportunity to work in a fast-moving, high-growth SaaS company.Strong results-oriented, dynamic and diverse culture.Competitive salary.Health insurance.Hybrid work environment.Paid time off.Tuition reimbursement.Professional development stipend.Seerist is an equal opportunity employer.Seerist does not discriminate based on race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, veteran status, or any other basis covered by appropriate law.All employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.#J-*****-Ljbffr
