Production Supervisor

**Company Description**WireCo® is the force behind the world's evolution, through deep heritage and forward thinking, we create premium ropes that inspire limitless innovation.Our global footprint includes manufacturing plants, distribution facilities and research and development centers around the world.In Mexico, we have two facilities, one in Vallejo (Mexico City) and one in Cuautitlán (Estado de México).Our brand name in Mexico is CAMESA, and the legal name of the Company is ACEROS CAMESA.WireCo® offers a competitive salary, incentive programs, growth opportunities and excellent benefits for employees and their families.Benefits include paid time off, paid vacation, medical, dental and vision insurance, a retirement plan and much more.This role is responsible for supervise that production programs are executed according to the resources provided and the requirements established in the production ordersThe Production Supervisor must exhibit WireCo Business System (WBS) behaviors:- Teamwork - welcomes an environment of inclusion and healthy debate that reflects the strength of our team- Accountable - celebrates our successes, learns from failures, avoids excuses and takes ownership of the results of our efforts- Self-Aware - demonstrates an understanding of our strengths and needs, considering how our actions impact others- Noble Intention - acts in the interest of others, We approach our work with integrity to ensure the best outcome- Determined - take initiative, share ideas and find solutions to win and achieve our goals- Transparent - promote open and honest communication and constructive feedback for clarity and truth- Curious - seek external insights and input to test our thinking, challenging the status quo**Functions and responsibilities**- Coordinate compliance with the production schedule by machine through the execution of production orders.- Communicate the requirements and specifications generated by the Technical Department to the production operators.- Ensure that operational personnel have the knowledge and skills required for executing production orders.- Maintain a positive work environment among all team members.- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, as well as Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.- Ensure that infrastructure, machinery, and work equipment are kept in optimal condition- Prepare production orders according to the schedule and delivery dates.- Supervise that operations at the different stages of the process are executed according to established standards.- Provide tooling and indirect materials required for production orders.- Maintain equipment and infrastructure in optimal condition.- Ensure incidents are reported on time and according to the payroll process.- Ensure the accounting closure of production orders within the period and in compliance with the order's structure and routing.- Develop the knowledge and skills of assigned personnel.- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and the Quality Management System, as well as continuous improvement activities and WBS.- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Industrial, Chemical-Metallurgical, Materials, or related field).- Knowledge in: Drawing/Wire Drawing, Problem Solving, Core Tools.- Continuous improvement methodologies: 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke, TPM, QRQC, OPL, LPA.- Proficiency in English.- Excel (pivot tables), ISO ****, ERP systems.- Minimum 2 years as Production Supervisor.- Experience in Metal-mechanics, Automotive, or related industry.- Experience managing unionized personnel.**Additional Information** Materials and equipment used directly**- Standard office equipment: computer, mouse, keyboard, telephone, multifunction photocopier- Personal protective equipment: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and steel-toed safety shoes.**Additional Information**:- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without restriction.- All applicants will be considered- Must be 18 years of age or older.- Equal Opportunity
