OverviewWelcome to Warner Bros. Discovery… the stuff dreams are made of. The AR Analyst will focus on supporting the Global Order to Cash Studios businesses by managing our Accounts Receivable. This position will be responsible for managing accounts receivable data in a high-volume, team-oriented environment, handling multiple invoices and titles while ensuring compliance with corporate accounts receivable and credit policies. This role involves initiating customer contact to request necessary data, following up on outstanding information, and reporting on the status of data received. In addition to data collection, the AR Analyst may perform accounts receivable analysis, conduct account reconciliations, and engage with customers to resolve open balances and secure timely payments while maintaining positive customer relationships. Analysts will communicate with customers via phone and email to gather required information and investigate the reasons behind overdue payments, reviewing terms of sale, service, or contracts as necessary. The role also includes accurately recording and maintaining data, reporting on financial status, and documenting collection efforts in the ERP system in a timely manner. The AR Analyst will provide insights and resolutions to receivable issues and contribute to the enhancement and performance of financial systems supporting accounts receivable processes. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams within the order-to-cash cycle, internal stakeholders, and customers. Discovery brand.Your Role AccountabilitiesManage assigned customer portfolios by analyzing, resolving all variances, and compiling a list of necessary adjustments with backup documentation.Support collections process in such a way to help meet or exceed established monthly and yearly collection goals through timely invoice resolution and directing cash applications.Communicate discrepancies and coordinates any corrections needed with internal teams.Provide updates to senior leadership on payments.Communicate complex issues and effectively handle difficult customer invoicing requests to maximize productivity, payment resolution and effectiveness.Identify and facilitate resolution with customers for non-payment and providing guidance on complex issues for problem resolution including short-pay, credits, and open invoices.Follow up with customers regarding past-due payments.Assist with incoming customer payment allocation requests.Process and reconcile account receivables and remittances.Ensure that collections targets are met or exceeded monthly.Preparing the statement of accounts for customers and regularly following up for payments.Build effective global working relationships with internal and external clients, including BPOs.Maintain contact information and customer specific instructions for accounts in portfolio and assist with invoice delivery as needed.Initiate customer refund requests.Follow-up on remittances with customers and understanding of adjustments in payments like withholding tax and foreign tax exchange issues.Create and analyze AR aging reports.Address payment issues like double payments or other discrepancies.Identify and facilitate improvements in the A/R processes through technology or procedural improvements.Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits.Qualifications & ExperiencesFluent in English2 to 4 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable reconciliations/CollectionsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is preferredQuick problem solver, team player, good time management skillsExcellent listening, oral, and written communication skillsExperience in SAP ERP preferredGreat organizational and interpersonal skillsHigh level of analytical skills and problem-solving skillsComplete understanding of the Order to Cash processWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently, creatively, and efficientlyProven track record in meeting deadlinesNot Required but preferred experienceExperience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferredHow We Get Things DoneThis last bit is probably the most important Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done.
