Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse teamThe OpportunityAs an Application Virtualization Senior Engineer, you will be designing and implementing a scalable Application Virtualization platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the platform architecture roadmap while ensuring environment provisioning and performance planningDesign and implement a scalable, reliable Application Virtualization platform, working collaboratively with cross-functional teamsServe as a technical expert for Citrix Cloud DaaS administration, operations, and all application environment-related elementsContribute to the platform architecture roadmap in partnership with the platform owner, product manager, and architecture leadsWork with infrastructure, network, and security teams to provision environments, configure services, and perform capacity and performance planningStay updated on emerging technologies, recommending system enhancements to improve troubleshooting and minimize manual processesCollaborate with SCCM or similar deployment tools to package, distribute, and maintain application installations seamlesslyOptimize application packages for efficient deployment and effective performance in Citrix virtualized environmentsConduct Level 3 platform support, maintenance, and issue resolution activitiesDevelop and maintain application documentation aligned with Takeda Quality Systems and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standardsMentor and guide team members, fostering technical growth and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvementFoster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectivesSkills and QualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience7+ years of experience across IT disciplines, including systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and system integration5+ years of experience in designing and managing Citrix environments in on-premise and cloud settings3+ years of experience with application packaging techniques for virtualized environments and system compatibility testingProficiency with tools like SCCM, Intune, or similar for application deployment and configurationExperience in creating and troubleshooting MSI packages, installers, and custom configurations for virtualized applicationsExpert hands-on knowledge of PowerShell or Bash scripting for automating tasks related to application packaging and deploymentExpertise with Citrix technologies, including NetScaler, Gateway service, Director tool, and App StreamingExtensive hands-on experience operating and maintaining Citrix infrastructure, such as License Server, StoreFront, Delivery Controller, Citrix Director, and VDA Machines #J-18808-Ljbffr
