Sales Contracts Analyst – EMEALA Full‑time position located in Mexico, supporting Elsevier's Clinical Solutions and Global Medical Education Sales teams. About the Role As an integral member of the Global Medical Education Contracts (Account Support) Team, you will partner with the regional manager and the EMEALA Clinical Solutions and Global Medical Education Sales teams to execute contracting and sales support processes for new, transactional, and renewal sales. You will respond to customer queries regarding all processes and serve as the main contact for the customer. Responsibilities Collaborate with a global cross‑functional team including Contracts Managers, Legal Counsels, Business Controllers, Collections, Product Development and other stakeholders. Ensure end‑to‑end processes are executed efficiently and effectively for both Elsevier and the customer. Participate in the development and fulfilment of contract requirements for the purchase or sale/delivery of Elsevier products. Evaluate contract compliance and advise on contractual rights and obligations, including facilitating amendments to contract terms or contract extensions. Assist in preparation of bids or requests for proposals (RFPs) and negotiate contract terms, participating in the determination of acceptable bids. Serve as the main customer contact, handling queries related to agreement status, invoicing, title reconciliation and clarification of subscription terms. Provide customers with information on validation of purchase history, solution access de‑activation, usage statistics and Elsevier pricing models. Coordinate large complex deal alignment and facilitate discussions across various internal stakeholders. Deliver proposals and agreements that are compliant with company policies and capture the customers’ requirements. Process and invoice on time according to the defined targets for your assigned territories. Engage stakeholders, leadership and cross‑functional support to progress business in a meaningful and efficient manner. Participate in Projects and Continuous Improvement efforts. Requirements Secondary education from an accredited college or equivalent. Depth of experience in Contract Administration, Sales Operations, Renewals Sales or Order Management. Fluency in English and Spanish. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Self‑starter who anticipates business needs and fulfills them proactively. Excellent organizational, analytical and contract drafting abilities. Understanding of corporate structures and negotiation tactics. Prior experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and related reporting functionalities. Prior experience using ERP tools such as Salesforce.com or Siebel CRM, including CPQ and CLM components of Salesforce.
