Ennismore is a joint venture with Accor, founded in ****.And now, Hyde is making its big debut in Mexico bringing the music and festival spirit to Mexico City.Job DescriptionThe Security Manager ensures that the property is safe for all patrons and employees. This role is responsible for developing and implementing security policies coordinating with law enforcement, conducting regular safety inspections, and managing the security team.Oversees Security department.Keeps the General Manager informed of all security related matters.Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assist with security problems and loss control.Liaises with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials as needed.Shows fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departmentsIs aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilitiesReviews, revises and updates Security procedures as necessary.Responsible for TrainingSecurity teamin all Hotel regulations and all factors affecting the operations of the hotel. Fire prevention and safety procedures, basic fire fighting, life saving techniques, preservation of crime scene and evidence, actions, duties and powers where crime is detected, action in crisis situations, and report writing.Ensuresthe daily processing in distribution of security reports to leadership team occurs in a consistent manner.Prepares incident reports and appropriate securityreports to review with theGeneral Manager.Keeps all records and report concerning security matters and Hotel businessconfidential.Attends and participates in Safety & Security meetings and others staff meetings.Is fully trained and prepared for all emergency situations as per procedures.Reviews internal policies & procedures on a regular basis to ensure maintenance of the highest level of efficiency and the best possible security with a high awareness of potential threats, to make recommendations to leadershipwhen policy changes are required.In close coordination with the engineering department, to conduct regular preventive maintenance of all safety equipment and rooms departments.Strictly controls in and out back-of-the-house of contractors, visitors and suppliers. Visitor passes to be issued and controlled.Frequent control and supervision of all security posts, including CCTV room.Ensures all staff is thoroughly familiar with the Hotel's emergency procedures and is in a state of preparedness for any emergency.Establishes and updatesthe emergency manual, with appropriate procedures and forms.In coordination with Director of Engineering, prepares a comprehensive fire & safety manual and to train existing employees and new comers on a regular basis, generic and with live fire drills.Initiates Fire Fighting Training in co-ordination with the local authorities (Fire Brigade) on a regular basis for all Hotel departments.Coordinates with People & Culture teams to establish necessary property brigades.Is familiar with all local regulations and compliance items.Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or managerWe recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.
