Your tasks· Maintain, audit, and oversee all current and new tooling.· Visit suppliers on a routine basis to ensure compliance with Brose tooling standardsand requirements.· Document new technology and present to internal teams and supply base· Work in conjunction with Commodity and Team Buyers, and the Supplier QualityEngineers to reduce ppms and ensure proper maintenance and construction oftooling.· Document Lessons learned and present to internal teams· Calculate tool cost targets and assist in reviewing quotes associated with toolbuilding and modification.· Technical support resource for newer Brose Tooling Engineers· Protect Brose's assets during tool moves from one supplier to another.· Initiate activities to create HIPPA privacy awareness within the organization andimplement privacy policies and procedures.· Reviewing new tool quoted prices, and ensuring the proper construction and maintenance of tools.Your Profile· Associate’s Degree in Tooling & Manufacturing (or similar program) or a college-based Tool & Dieor Technician Diploma or Certificate· Five (5) years of documented experience as Tool & Die Maker or a documented and verifiedCompletion of Apprenticeship Certificate as a Die Maker or Tool & Die Maker
