Sr. Sourcing Specialist - Capital Acquisitions Join to apply for the Sr. Sourcing Specialist - Capital Acquisitions role at MKS Inc. A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Sr. Category Specialist Capital Acquisitions, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships across a wide range of capital expenditures including equipment, machinery, construction, and facility furnishings. As a key member of the Global Supply Chain team, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and deliver cost savings while ensuring quality and service excellence. Additionally, you will collaborate with legal and business teams to develop, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms, compliance, and risk mitigation. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative international environment navigating multiple organizations, sites, cultures and practices. You will report to the Sr. Director of Global Supply Chain. You Make an Impact By Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Engineering, Facilities, Finance, and Legal to understand requirements, influence decisions, and align sourcing strategies with project requirements and business objectives Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for capital projects including RFP/RFQ development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution processes to ensure the best value in terms of cost, quality, innovation, and risk mitigation Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier rationalization, and process improvements Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all agreements align with internal policies, legal requirements, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, export controls, HIPAA, etc.) Manage contract lifecycle including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and license agreements Drive value creation through total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and strategic supplier consolidation Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management Strong negotiation, contract management, analytical, and project management skills Knowledge of contract terms and supplier risk management Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities This role offers a hybrid work option for days remote and onsite Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Supply Chain Industries: Semiconductor Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
