Company Overview:If a culture of excellence, innovation and ownership is what you're searching for, consider putting your experience in motion at Flowserve.As an individual contributor, or as a leader of people, your enterprise mindset will ensure Flowserve's position as the global standard in comprehensive flow control solutions.Here, your opportunity for professional development and industry leading rewards will be supported by our foundational commitments to the values of people first, integrity and safety.Thinking beyond opportunity and reward, at Flowserve, we are inspired by working together to create extraordinary flow control solutions to make the world better for everyoneRole Summary:As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures.This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements.You'll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.Responsibilities & Requirements:- Review the information in the Transfer File of the order prior to the Kick Off Meeting.- Generate the preliminary ITP based on information from the PMU, Datasheet, Specifications and technical clarifications of the Order Entry process.- Issuing the final ITP based on the information of the Transfer File considering the clarifications with the client.- Follow up on clarifications in customer specifications to generate the quality plan (ITP).- Guarantee compliance with the ITP throughout the life of the project.- Execute and document the non-destructive test of PMI.- Management of root cause analysis necessary to prevent quality problems.Manage the document system and information flow for the preparation of the dossier.- Lead the implementation of special certifications derived from customer requirements.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of CIP projects.- Comply with the goals of Santa Clara according to the KPIs defined by the Corporate (COPQs, OTD, CARs, CSS, financial results).- Ensure compliance with company safety rules and regulations by the teamPreferred Experience / Skills:- Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies- Experience in quailty control department- Understanding of product / process flow- Strong organizational skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Mechanical Engineering or similar and 3-5 years relevant experience**Req ID** : R-******Job Family Group** : Engineering**Job Family** : EN Quality EngineeringEOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.Flowserve will also not discriminate against an applicant or employee for inquiring about, discussing or disclosing their pay or, in certain circumstances, the pay of their co-workers.Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision
