The Mold Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining molds for injection or compression molding of plastic products in a clean room environment.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Using company software, monitor and track progress of job towards completion- Follow written as well as verbal line ups- File, grind, shim, and adjust different parts to properly fit them together- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify molds ,dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools- Inspect finished molds for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects- Measure, mark, and scribe metal or plastic stock to lay out machining, using instruments such as protractors, micrometers, scribes, and rulers- Set up and operate drill presses, surface grinders, manual mills, lathes to manufacture and or modify parts for assembly- Perform final assembly of the mold- Repair and fitting of tool components and assembly of components into mold base for finished tool- Broad knowledge of molding and mold repair with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems- Complete mold inspection check list- Notify management of any problems or delays that will impact the company's ability to support established goals- Keep work area clean and organized- Follow all safety procedures**REQUIREMENTS**:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering field is a must- 5+ years' experience in mold or tool repair related experience in a manufacturing environment; clean room environment experience a plus.- Hands-on experience with Nissei, Engel, Arbug or Mitsubishi injection molding machines- Ability to work overtime on weekend if needed- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.Application Question(s):- What are your salary expectations?- Have you received your engineering diploma (titulo-cedula)?- Can you communicate in English fluently during an interview?**Education**:- Bachelor's (required)**Experience**:- Nissei/Engel/Arburg/Mitsubishi injection molding machines: 2 years (required)**Language**:- ENGLISH (required)Work Location: In person
