The Prod Ctrl Lead Analyst participates is a senior level position responsible for leading efforts that ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Finance industry trendsContribute to the directional strategy of the Finance function, anticipating the impact to daily work and the businessEvaluate and resolve complex issues and select the best action by weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needsOversight of the P&L commentary linking results with market movementsOversight of accurate reporting of P&L by Legal Entity and GeographyEnsure reconciliation of P&L figures from product control report to the general ledger and management reportsEnsure adherence to Product Control policies and proceduresCoordinate with other regional teams to ensure accuracy of reported P&L and Balance SheetCoordinate with Front Office and Technology to drive improvements to infrastructure and reportingOversight of daily P&L reporting as well as balance sheet analysis and reportingRepresent Product Control on business forums and to multiple stakeholdersQualifications6-10 years of relevant experienceConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducationBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferredRequirementsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate and present effectively to management of Finance, Business, and Audit.Extensive experience across Product Control and Finance processesStrong product knowledge, including securities and derivativesA proven track record of coordinating and working in teams and an ability to influence initiatives to achieve the optimal outcomeStrong knowledge on products including securities and FX and interest rate derivativesA control focused mind-set with strong capabilities for designing and implementing efficient processes with enhanced controlsJob Family Group : FinanceJob Family : Product ControlTime Type : Full timeCiti is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "EEO is the Law" poster.View the EEO is the Law Supplement.View the EEO Policy Statement.View the Pay Transparency Posting #J-18808-Ljbffr
