Information Technology Advisor (ERP/Netsuite Expert) - 1379 We are seeking a highly capable IT Professional Advisor to serve as a trusted strategic partner to leadership, providing expert guidance across technology operations, data strategy, and system optimization. This role has no direct reports but owns oversight of all IT initiatives, ensuring processes run smoothly and consistently. The advisor will evaluate current systems, lead efforts to implement a scalable data warehouse, support ERP/NetSuite functions, and guide the organization’s effective use of AI. They will manage vendor-supported operations, coordinate cross-functional IT projects, and provide clear, well-structured recommendations to senior leadership. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker who is also a hands-on problem solver, capable of operating independently and influencing key decisions at the highest level. Key Responsibilities Oversee IT operations currently supported by Vendor, including security reviews, onboarding/offboarding, and new-user setup. Advise on AI strategy and how the organization should use AI effectively. Lead the effort to build a data-warehouse structure. Assess what is working vs. not working in our current systems and processes, and propose optimizations. Manage and coordinate IT initiatives — they should understand how things are done, but they don’t need to execute everything themselves. Prepare strong proposals and recommendations for Senior Leaders. Review existing contracts and resource allocations; help redistribute resources as needed. Work closely with Director of IT on ERP/NetSuite; this person will help run and support that function. Support the setup and implementation of Power BI. Job Requirements 7+ years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or technology strategy roles. Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, with strong communication and decision-support skills. Strong understanding of IT operations, including security reviews, onboarding/offboarding, user provisioning, and vendor-managed services. Hands-on experience with ERP NetSuite, and ability to collaborate closely with IT leadership on ERP strategy and support. Experience implementing or structuring data warehouses and working with analytics or BI tools (Power BI preferred). Solid understanding of AI tools, governance, and best practices, with the ability to guide an organization’s AI adoption strategy. Ability to audit, analyze, and optimize systems and processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements. Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating initiatives across teams without needing to directly execute all tasks. Excellent documentation and proposal-writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear recommendations for executives. Self-starter mindset, able to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain ownership of outcomes. Experience reviewing contracts, IT budgets, or resource allocations is a strong plus. Familiarity with security frameworks and IT best practices. High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with systems, data, and leadership decisions.
