Quickbooks Online Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online to lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end and year-end closing.Maintain and update the general ledger in QuickBooks Online, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper classification.Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.Oversee payroll processing, expense tracking, fixed asset management, and cost allocations.Monitor cash flow, perform account reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Manage vendor and client accounts, ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and proper documentation.Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies; support external auditsand tax preparation.Improve accounting workflows, identify process gaps, and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and support operational goals.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.3–5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a senior or lead role.Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including advanced reporting, automation features, and system integrations.Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and core accounting principles.Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) and exposure to other accounting or ERP systems.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Seniority Level: AssociateEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Function: Accounting / AuditingIndustry: AccountingLocation: Bridgetown, Saint Michael, Barbados#J-*****-Ljbffr
