As an innovation partner with distinctive development and systems expertise, we support our customers on the path to increasingly sustainable and connected mobility concepts from autonomous driving to alternative drives as well as charging systems.Job DescriptionThis position serves LEONI’s North American Series Development Department with design expertise to create and maintain harness designs.Analyze customer designs/requirements and convert in LEONI 2D prints and BOMEnsure that all design data is robust and sufficient for processing, and raise relevant technical queriesCommunicate directly with the customer’s technical department to clarify designs are resolve issuesUses and performs relevant methods and tools e.g. DFMEA, DFM, Design ReviewsCollaborate to analyze cost and weight of designs and provide optimization proposalsLiaison with manufacturing operations to ensure manufacturing feasibilitySupport build phases in harness manufacturing and vehicle assembly plantsProcess engineering changes and deviations from initiation to implementationSupport all customer meetings and requestsQualifications and Experience3 years’ experience in Automotive E/E DesignBasic knowledge of 3D CAD tools and E/E schematicsLocated Toluca preferredProficient English speaking and writing skills (80%)People of all genders are always meant equally; for linguistic simplification and better readability, only the masculine form is used in the text.LEONI processes your application data in an IT-system that is consistent across the company and uses Foreign Service providers.
