Finance Director

**We are searching for the best talent for Finance Director **to be in Mexico City, Mexico.****Purpose**:This position reports to the Vice President Finance LATAM and has a dotted-line reporting to the Mexico General Manager.The Finance Director role is part of the cluster leadership committee and is also a legal representative of the business in the country.The incumbent will be responsible for for the financial leadership, direction, and management of the finance function.Represents and manages the business' financial position in the areas of income, expenses, capital usage and cash flow.The role has 4 managers (2 direct reports and 2 dotted lineline) and manages a direct team of 9 professionals in total.**You will be responsible for**:- Partners with business units to drive consistent organizational excellence and provide optimal financial leadership to maximize value creation.- Identification of future opportunities to improve full suite of enterprise reporting and planning solutions.- Leads the preparation of business plans, forecast updates and long-term planning.- Enhances current practices and develops new solutions and strategies to strengthen the financial knowledge and operating performance.- Ensures financial processes and systems are in place in compliance with worldwide procedures, SOX and drives accountability throughout the organization.- Maintain effective communication with the Cluster Leadership Committee and presentations to LATAM Leadership Team making sure that they are properly informed about the operations results and the financial condition of the company- Business decision support in the areas of portfolio and commercial solutions (innovations), RGM and resource prioritization, to drive efficient decision making and trade-offs to manage business performance- Leads improvement in Finance internal processes and standard procedures and drive continuous improvements and alignment (cross sector, cross country).- Is part of Cluster Compliance Committee and leads compliance with regional and corporate requirements while promoting and living Our Credo.Ensures adequate processes are in place, documented, and tested to safeguard the assets of our entities.Ensures the organization complies with all company and external guidelines.- Projects: Takes a leadership role to develop and implement complex projects that drive value creation and have implications across the J&J organization.Aligns and influences all key stakeholders.- Talent Management and development: Takes a leadership role in influencing the broader succession planning and talent management processes.Recruits, coaches, and retains individuals that have diverse backgrounds to develop leaders for the future.Ensures staff members recruit, coach, and retain top talent.Maximizes the power of diversity and inclusion.- Function as a legal representative of the company for legal and fiscal matters in Mexico and is accountable for internal and external auditing results**Qualifications**:**Qualifications and requirements**:- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent- Minimum ten years of applicable finance and/or business experience.- Knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis, Transfer Pricing, Cost Accounting, Internal Controls and Worldwide Financial Procedures.Ability to handle complexity and matrixial organization.People Management Skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and influence cross functionally within the company's local leadership team, regional teams and external stakeholders.- Advanced English- Minimum six years of people management experience
