Your main focus will be to maintain safetystandards within your team and across your site. You'll alsomonitor and maintain process efficiency. Your days will alwaysinclude prioritizing routine team management and daily operationaltasks, alongside other tasks like individual escalations, processimprovement work and wide-scale operational contingency planning.Being a key part of the operations team involves working withcolleagues in other teams and external partners to make sure westay on track to meet our customer demands and targets. This willinvolve analyzing data and performance metrics with leaders in yourbusiness area, as well as discussing the operational pros and consof technical improvements with engineers. About the team AmazonLogistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties inpartnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilizecreative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to getmillions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Ourgoal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth aspossible and roll out global delivery solutions for our newestconcepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now and Amazon Restaurants.There are two sides to what we do. Our 'under the roof' associatesprocess millions of products for dispatch to our delivery teams.Our team is people-focused and supportive, particularly as lots ofour people work through the night. We focus mostly on operations,with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations. Meanwhile, our 'on theroad' people work with Amazon Flex - a network of deliverycontractors. Every year, we continually raise the bar for customerexperience with new, innovative delivery services. We look for newways to overcome industry wide logistics challenges and new ideasto reduce our carbon footprint, supported by a portfolio ofcutting-edge vehicles (including Electric Vehicles) and technologyto help us do just that.- A completed Bachelor's Degree or 2+ yearsAmazon experience. - 2+ years' experience in a role with similarresponsibilities - 1+ year of direct management experience foremployees and their performance. - English Intermediate-Advanced(B2+) - Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal- MBA or similar- Experience using Lean manufacturing methodologies. - Previousexperience as Project Management - Experience managing department´sKPIs and driven results - Bachelor's degree in business,engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation or related. -Logistics Background from Operations environment, preferably fromFirst-Middle Mile Ops. - Advanced English Proficiency(C1+)
