Descripción del puesto Estamos buscando un Applications Engineer para unirse a nuestro equipo en Monterrey. Esta posición será responsable de brindar soporte técnico y aplicaciones de ingeniería a clientes, trabajando en estrecha colaboración con los equipos de ventas y operaciones para optimizar procesos de manufactura y maximizar el desempeño de los productos Kennametal. Responsabilidades principales Brindar soporte técnico especializado a clientes en aplicaciones de maquinado y manufactura. Analizar procesos productivos y recomendar soluciones óptimas de herramientas de corte y aplicaciones. Realizar pruebas, demostraciones y validaciones técnicas en planta y en sitio del cliente. Capacitar a clientes y equipos internos sobre productos, aplicaciones y mejores prácticas. Colaborar con el equipo de ventas para el desarrollo de propuestas técnicas y soporte en proyectos clave. Documentar resultados, mejoras de procesos y ahorros para el cliente. Mantenerse actualizado sobre nuevas tecnologías, productos y tendencias del mercado. Requisitos Licenciatura en Ingeniería Mecánica, Industrial, Mecatrónica o afín. Experiencia previa como Applications Engineer, Ingeniero de Procesos o roles técnicos similares (preferentemente en manufactura o maquinado). Conocimiento sólido en procesos de maquinado, herramientas de corte, CNC y materiales. Inglés intermedio–avanzado (capaz de mantener conversaciones técnicas). Disponibilidad para viajar dentro de la región. Habilidades de comunicación, análisis y enfoque al cliente.
