Job Opportunity Join the team and take the opportunity to be part of the energy transition in Mexico.We are looking for an Environmental Manager to join the Team.General Objective of the positionDesign and implement an environmental management system, as well as environmental management plans and procedures to create a culture of environmental management and pollution prevention and continuous improvement in the organization, to assist management in ensuring compliance by EPC and O&M contractors with their respective management systems and legal and contractual obligations, and to align the company's environmental management with stakeholder requirements and expectations.Main responsibilitiesEstablish, design and implement Environmental Management policies, plans and procedures for the management of environmental aspects in the company's processes and in the EPC and O&M phase of the projects.Consolidate a culture of environmental sustainability and pollution prevention throughout the organization in line with the expectations of the shareholders.Establish Environmental Management contractual clauses and requirements for EPC and O&M contracts.Assist in obtaining the necessary environmental permits and authorizations during the EPC and O&M phase.Ensure complete documentation of each contractor's environmental management system, verifying that the documentation is complete and complies with the requirements of the applicable standard.Assist the different areas of the company in the management of all environmental documentation and records in accordance with established procedures and standardsDesign and approve environmental management plans/programs for compliance with plant/project environmental constraints and environmental emergency preparedness and response plans of EPC and O&M contractors, ensuring that they conform to legal and contractual requirements and the company's plans and protocols.Supervise their effective implementation through observations, management visits, supervisions, audit processes and investigate loss environment events.Coordinate and perform, directly or through service providers, audits of EPC and O&M contractors and work performed in the field, to verify compliance with their environmental management systems, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO *****, as well as legal and contractual requirements and industry best practices.Manage Environmental Management non-conformities with contractors and internal parties and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans to ensure environmentally safe execution of work in accordance with regulations and contracts and execution of internal company processes in accordance with established procedures and standards.Coordinate due diligence and environmental studies, review of documentation, environmental permits and evidence of compliance from vendors, partners and other interested parties.Performing all the necessary steps to obtain the required environmental permits for new projects, in a timely manner in order to support to the business development (BD) area for the study/development/acquisition of new projects, coordinating the corresponding.Consolidate all required reports needed by the stakeholdes and lenders.In case, attention and resolution of environmental deviatios detected in lenders' audits.Budget.OPEX Environmental Budget Monitoring and Compliance.Develop solution for reducing waste and wastewater at sitesJob Profile~ Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering or related fieldLanguages:~ English - professional levelExperience Required:Professional experience: More than 10 years in Environmental Management or ConsultancyProfessional area: EnvironmentalSpecialized knowledge: Experience in the development, implementation and auditing of Environmental Management Systems in accordance with relevant international standards.In-depth knowledge of Mexican environmental legislation and international best practices.Previous experience in managing visits and inspections by the environmental authority.Use of Tools: Windows, Office, Oracle or similarWhat do we offer?~15 vacation days in the first year~ Major medical insurance (SGMM)~ Life insurance~ Saving Found~ Christmas Bonus~ Annual performance bonus~ Food vouchers and restaurant couponsWhere will you be located to work?In Mexico City.
