**CUMMINS.****Solicita**:**Senior Supplier Quality Engineer****Descripción y Requisitos**IRC****** Senior Supplier Quality Engineer.Our culture believes in RAISING YOUR POTENTIAL.We offer global opportunities to develop your career, make your community a better place, and work with today's most innovative people looking to solve the toughest problems we face globally.We believe in flexibility so you can explore your passions while making an impact through meaningful work within our inclusive workforce.That's what #LifeAtCummins is all about.We are looking for a talented Senior Supplier Quality Engineer.to join our team specialized in QUALITY for our in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, MEXICO.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:- Responsible for supplier quality involvement in the selection, management, development, troubleshooting, and assurance of defect-free performance of the direct materials supply chain- Participates and guides the quality participation of suppliers in evaluation, selection, strategic sourcing and supplier development processes.- Responsible for our most challenging supplier corrective actions, root cause analysis.- Ensures that suppliers select, use and adapt quality tools effectively for their industry and in accordance with our requirements, especially the advanced product quality planning process.- Responsible for determining that the supplier meets all requirements for our most challenging new or modified products and for executing production part approval processes and advanced product quality planning processes.To be successful in this position, you will need the following:- Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanics, Metal Mechanics or related- Mastery of Core Tools (APQP, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP)- Robust knowledge of Project Management- Expert in Supplier Management (relationship with suppliers, management of quality problems, identification of potential risks in the different stages of projects, negotiation with suppliers)- Focus would be internal and/or external customer- Excellent management of conflicts and negotiations- Knowledge of SPC and domain of GD&T- Domain of IATF*****- Mastery of product/process/system audits- High level of knowledge in welding (TIG, MIG, arc)- Mastery of Aftertreatment- Product knowledge: substrates, canning, body muffler, catalysts- Knowledge of processes: plastic injection, heat treatment- Advanced EnglishPuesto: Calidad**Información Adicional**- Tipo de contrato: Permanente- Salario: Negociable- Pais: MEXICO- Estado o Region: Nuevo Leon- Ciudad: Monterrey
