Job Summary This role seeks a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Ruby and Ruby on Rails to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The position requires solid object‑oriented programming skills, Git proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup. Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API design is a plus, offering opportunities for cross‑functional collaboration and full‑stack exposure. Responsibilities Develop, test, and deploy Ruby applications. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot and debug existing applications. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code. Qualifications and Job Requirements +6 years of Experience as a Software Engineer Strong proficiency in the Ruby programming language. Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming principles. Experience with the Ruby on Rails framework. Familiarity with Git for version control. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with React for front‑end development. Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and related frameworks.
