Assistant Procurement Manager- Capex/Mro

**ABOUT UNILEVER**Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do - creating a better business and a better world.You will work on brands that are loved and improve the lives of our consumers and the communities around us.You will lead innovations, big and small, that will make our business win and grow.You will learn from brilliant business leaders and colleagues who provide mentorship and inspiration so that you can become a better you.**JOB **PURPOSE**If you want to be part of Unilever ´s history, as being part of the creation of a completely new site that has the expectation to be a state of the art and future fit factory, a model for other sites to reference both internally and externally, then this role is just for you**WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE**This role will be responsible to achieve our Capex strategy on new technology/ innovation / automation that the company makes directly and indirectly in all value chain from a Procurement standpoint in support of our business strategy covering Latam region.Support Procurement Manager with delivering key targets related to Cost and Cash, Quality and Service, Innovation and Sustainable Living.This role forms a key business partner with Engineering team at supply chain sites.The Assistant Sourcing Manager will increase efficiency of our Capex & MRO procurement by driving scale where it makes sense, decreasing fragmentation, pooling expertise across Latam region, prioritizing higher impact spend areas, leveraging technology and data, and delivering on best practices.**WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED**- Assess supply market and adapt strategy according to market conditions.- Assess supplier capability and suitability through regular site visits and reporting back on findings.- Develop and improve supplier cost models to drive increase in transparency of cost drivers- Unlock cash and cost value through setting up and execution of benchmarking, RFQs, E-tenders.Support delivery of savings and creditor extension programme for portfolio- Support and lead key supplier negotiations- Provide market intelligence to portfolio manager and business leaders to assist in strategic decision making.- Connect with site engineering and regional engineering teams** **and other business partners as well as with suppliers, to understand future technology and capability roadmap that supports value delivery and USLP.- Allocate new services to suppliers to deliver best cost/service/quality in line with supply strategy.- Lead on-boarding of new suppliers by driving full quality and RPP compliance- Ensure 100% contractual compliance through signing of Unilever Purchasing Agreements and Commercial Term Contracts as well as Special Term Contracts- Agree annual budgets with suppliers.Implement into new CTC.Communicate/process changes in pricing as required- Regularly connect with global counterparts to ensure the Latam portfolio is link with the global strategy and implement global strategy.- Manage relationships with Supply chain and other business partners, to leverage and land strategic plans.- Good understanding of the portfolio cost models as well as the indices link to the material types.**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE**:- Fluent English/Spanish writing and speaking.- 5 years' experience in Procurement or similar- Experience on large-scale change management projects- Experience in CAPEX/MRO (Maintenance, Repairs and Operations)- Experienced in stakeholder and supplier management.- Strong communicator with experience in working successful in virtual team environments- Skilled at challenging business stakeholders and driving change
