The Role We are looking for an Integration / Solutions Engineer to join our growing engineering team, and build out our backend third party integration systems as we scale. For us, this isn’t just about technical performance, but also supporting the internal human processes that will always power much of our product. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Support, Growth and other functions to test, analyze, document and plan integrations with partners across the world. We develop integrations with Banks, Mobile Wallet providers and many other partners. Your role is to work closely with those partners in testing & analyzing their APIs, using tools like Postman or writing simple scripts. While some technical expertise is required, the main skills for success in this job are organizational & time-management skills and most importantly, proactive communication. Responsibilities Test 3rd party APIs using Postman or similar tool Analyze 3rd party API documentation Identify inconsistencies, problems or ambiguities in the API behavior Communicate with partners to troubleshoot issues Communicate technical updates to internal stakeholders in a timely fashion Monitor existing API integrations for problems - analyze logs, build dashboards, check queues, etc. Help with planning & prioritizing Requirements Based in Morocco – French & English Speaking 5+ years working experience in professional environmentStrong communication skillsStrong ability to manage conflicting priorities, setting expectations with stakeholders and be a driving force Experience with Postman Experience with testing or using REST & SOAP APIs Strong understanding of JSON & XML Excellent verbal and written English Excellent time management skills and desire to work across time zones (big part of tech team is in USA) Nice to haves Experience with Python or any other scripting language Experience with Datadog / Seq / Scalyr or other log analysis tool Taptap Values Impact first Team next Accept reality Propose solutions Win with grit Be proactively candid, with yourself and others Love the particular Own it Create positive energy Maybe, even have fun Taptap Send is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to building an inclusive and diverse workforce.
