Direct message the job poster from GenzeonJob TitleData Governance Consultant – HealthcareLocationLATAMProgram ContextData Governance program for a single state health plan client that has been underway for about a year.The client had limited data governance practices in place, and it is now a strategic priority.Core ResponsibilitiesStand up mature data governance processes data domain by data domain, leveraging our playbook and customizing to meet client needs and priorities.Define sub-domains and scope data assets into each sub-domain.Facilitate nomination and assignment on key leadership positions for each client data domain; navigate and triage client questions and push-back.Draft business glossaries and facilitate stakeholder review / approval of drafts.Identify data quality challenges and different kinds of data quality checks; work with tech partnersto recommend data quality measures.Understand and document life cycle management processes.Develop PowerPoint presentations and written emails in support of activation goals and related priorities.Co-facilitate client conversations.Manage and report on status of tasks, including detailed project planning and prioritization across multiple domains and urgent priorities.Note, this role will directly report to experienced consultants / managers who are leading the engagement, and will have the opportunity to upskill and take on increasing responsibility commensurate with abilities and interest.Required Skills & Qualifications3-6 years of professional business experience; minimum 1-2 years' experience working with health insurance plans and health plan data sets.Direct experience implementing data governance in a healthcare setting.Proven ability to collaborate across business units and client teams, understanding health plan data domains, technical landscape, and business processes.Self-directed work style with demonstrated capability to manage competing priorities, identify risks, and elevate issues appropriately.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with ability to modulate depth and tone to be most effective in different audiences.Experience developing consulting-style PowerPoint presentations.Executive-level consulting experience presenting data governance strategies, recommendations, and program status to program leadership.Technical KnowledgeBasic understanding and aptitude to learn more about health plan data and technology landscape, including data warehouse architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration patterns.Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS), claims platform (NASCO), and home-grown solutions development process.Experience with the Informatica quality suite (Axon, Marketplace, EDC or IDQ).Senior Level & Employment TypeMid-Senior level.Contract.Job function: Information Technology – IT Services and IT Consulting.#J-*****-Ljbffr
