**Site Manager**:**At ABB, we are dedicated to addressing global challenges.Our core values: care, courage, curiosity, and collaboration - combined with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities - are key drivers in our aim to empower everyone to create sustainable solutions.That's our story.Make it your story.**:**This position reports to**:Global Operations Manager**Your role and responsibilities**:In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit, including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Operational Excellence, and Logistics.Each day, you will ensure achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and define improvement actions as needed.You will also showcase your expertise by executing business unit/product group quality strategy.The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the NEMA Motors division in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco.You will be mainly accountable for: - Develop business action plans for the site, aligned with the global business area, division, product group and operations strategies.- Prepare and manage the annual budget and ensure achievement of established targets by overseeing progress and define improvement actions.- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes that meet customer quality and delivery expectations.- Develop and implement strategies to increase production, capacity utilization and flexibility while preparing for new product launches and growth.- Regular and ongoing communication between all major functions and teams in support of the site objectives.- Provide oversight for other functions located at the site including real estate, security, design engineering/lab, distribution, etc.**Qualifications for the role**:- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years of experience OR Master's Degree with minimum 8 years of experience.- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role (Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or similar)- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)- In country cultural awareness with knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.- Willingness to travel - (15%)**What's in it for you?**:- Bring your knowledge and expertise, make the difference in technology- Enjoy a supportive and solution driven team environment- Work in a company with a strong technology legacy and deeply rooted in local communities**Benefits**:- Paid Parental leave (gender neutral)- Life insurance- Retirement plan- Healthcare plan- Wellbeing program- Dental insurance- Flex days- Employee Assistance Program (PAE)- Development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)**More about us**:
