About The Role We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead to guide a team of developers in building impactful software solutions. This role involves hands‑on coding, mentoring, and contributing to project planning and execution. You'll help shape technical direction, support team growth, and ensure high‑quality delivery. Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for technical issues within your team. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to finalize requirements. Write and review technical specifications and code for moderately complex systems. Resolve advanced bugs and technical challenges. Translate product requirements into effective software designs. Promote best practices in development, including code reviews and testing. Work in Agile, Kanban, or other development environments. Mentor and support junior engineers in their growth. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends. Design and manage complex data models. Lead team operations including hiring, training, performance feedback, and fostering innovation. Encourage accountability, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration. Requirements Fluent in English and Spanish. Reside in Mexico City and available to work onsite 2 days per week. Proficient in object‑oriented programming (.NET / C# and JavaScript). Experience with front‑end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus. Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Skilled in test‑driven development and working with complex data models. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage technical resources. Strong planning, time management, and problem‑solving skills. Effective communicator across diverse audiences and organizational levels.
