Associate ICountry: Mexico**Company**:Santander Corporate & Investment Banking**Industry**:Equities**Location**:Mexico City**Main Responsibilities**:- Support the Senior Sector Analyst in terms of analysis, forecasting and communication with investors.- Develop an expertise in an specific sector.- Establish a close dialogue with leading Mexican companies in these sectors.- Proactive communication with Santander teams Mexico, Sao Paulo New York, and London.- Learn about the equity markets by tracking listed-company news and results.- Maintain financial models and propose forecasts using different valuation methodologies.- Collaboration with analysts in other sectors and overall Equity Strategy teams.**Requirements**:- Self-motivated learner with a desire to develop a career in international finance.- Strong analytical skills.Flexible in working hours.Excellent spoken and written English.- Having works with financial models, and with pre-disposition for attention to detail.- Experience (4-7 years) in either equity research, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, accounting or similar.- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuary, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or Business.High grades and international experience are a plus.Master's Degree also a plus.Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Bloomberg and/or Capital IQ knowledge a plus.
