**Network Engineer (Santander)****Location**: Fully Remote**Salaries **:$70,000 mxn, open to negotiate**MUST**: Previous Experience on finance, banking is a PLUS**Duration**:Possibility of extensions and/or full-time hire**Description**:- 90% of the resources time will be using Checkpoint site to manage the firewall and VPN.- The resource will manage Checkpoint VPN Site to SITE (between companies) and will know general concepts.- The resource will also be familiar with managing CISCO Firewall, plus end point VPN, IPS.10% of the resource's time will be spent on Proxy and Cisco.- The resource must have *****% experience with Check Point (Firewall, VPN, IPS ), 20% experience in Cisco Firewalls.- Plans and implements enterprise networks and related hardware and software.- Designs and documents network architecture.- Performs assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.- Establishes security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity and access parameters.- Provides recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.- Tests and tunes security devices and systems.Programs routers and switches.- Implements communications technologies (data or voice).- Manages network services from planning phase through implementation.- Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies and network infrastructure is required**Responsibilities**:- Monitor and report network performance- Troubleshoot and fix network issues- Deploy network solutions- Understand, track, develop and implement remediation plans for all vulnerabilities and device hardening standards**Duration**: Possibility of extensions dependent upon evolution of the project**Location**: Fully remote**Core Requirements**:3 Years of Experience with:- Firewall (Both Check Point Cisco required)- IPS (Check Point required)- Cisco and Check Point Client & Site to Site VPN- Proxy (Either Blue Coat or Cisco Umbrella)**Nice-to-Have**:- Bilingual Spanish/English ******% fluency in English)- Available to offer support during non business hours- Proactive**Rounds of Interviews**: 2 Rounds**Salary**: $50,****** - $70,****** per month**Experience**:- Cisco: 5 years (preferred)- IPS (Check Point required): 4 years (preferred)- Firewall (Both Check Point Cisco required): 4 years (preferred)- Network Engineer: 5 years (preferred)- Check Point: 5 years (preferred)- CISCO Firewall: 5 years (preferred)- Proxy: 5 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)
