Senior Enterprise Application Developer

One of our clients, is looking to engage a global team of consultants to help with the development and maintenance of Salesforce. This team is made up of a small team of technologists whose responsibilities include, among other items, leading the development and maintenance of 13 Salesforce applications that support various Tax Teams of our client, including the Portfolio Management Team. We are a Consulting firm and we are looking for consultants based in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Mexico City and San Jose, Costa Rica. In Brazil and Costa Rica you will be hired as Independent Contractor in a B2B model as a consultant professional. In Mexico you will be hired as a project employee. The Technology Development Support team will be made up of a mix of 4-6 consultants globally in these different roles: Senior Enterprise Application Developer, Senior Integration Specialist, Enterprise Application Developer and QA/Functional Test Specialist. What You Will Work On We’re looking for a Senior Enterprise Application Developer to design and build high-impact, scalable enterprise applications supporting critical tax, finance, and accounting operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on senior technologist who enjoys custom development, modern UI, integrations, and architectural ownership, while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders. You’ll work on enterprise-grade solutions used by 2,000+ users, combining platform expertise, clean architecture, and emerging technologies (including AI-enabled capabilities). What You’ll Do Design and develop custom enterprise applications and modern, responsive user interfaces Build secure, scalable integrations using APIs and event-driven patterns Define and apply technical standards, reusable components, and architectural patterns Implement automation, data pipelines, and system integrations across platforms Contribute to AI-powered features and intelligent automation initiatives Ensure high code quality, performance optimization, and robust test coverage Lead technical discovery, solution design discussions, and architecture decisions Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues in distributed systems What We’re Looking For Technical Experience Strong hands-on experience with enterprise application platforms, with Salesforce as the primary focus Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex Platform automation, data modeling, and security Experience with custom development and enterprise integrations API and integration experience: REST/SOAP, GraphQL Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and modern architecture patterns Exposure to integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft or similar) Interest or experience with AI/ML, analytics, or intelligent automation is a plus Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 6+ years of professional experience in enterprise application development Salesforce Developer Certification (Level 1) – required Advanced Salesforce or Platform certifications – preferred Cloud or Integration certifications – a strong plus Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a senior role Comfortable collaborating with business, finance, and technology stakeholders English Language as proficient (Speaking, writing and listening) What You Can Expect Compensation commensurate with qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
